[Kyoto Satsuma] In 1867, the Satsuma ware exhibited by the Satsuma clan at the Paris Exposition was highly acclaimed. Kyo Satsuma is Satsuma Kinrande-style pottery produced in Kyoto during the Meiji and Taisho periods. The ivory-colored base is characterized by finely detailed gold coloring and a sophisticated design.

A type of ceramic produced in southern China. A baking method that produces vivid colors with the same ingredients as glass. In general, pottery with a glaze that is finely penetrating, such as yellow, purple, green, blue, and white.
